I was a barista for a long time and am kind of picky about where I go. It has to have a combination of good vibes, down to earth staff and good coffee. Java 101 has surpassed my expectations countless times. I stop pretty regularly now on my commute with my son and April is there every morning greeting not just me, but my almost 3 year old with kindness and a smile. She remembers his muffin order and makes my coffee just how I like it. When you work food service it can be hard to have a good attitude sometimes, but this stand and Aprils attitude have become an integral part of our morning routine. This tired mamma thanks you!!
Best coffee stand on the 101! The baristas here are very knowledgeable and friendly. They have everything expected at a coffee stand. As well as some burritos, stuffed pretzels, cookies and more. In the last year I've stopped here at least 4-5 times a week and I can't say I've had an experience that wasn't great. They use Dillanos coffee roasters, and offer lotus! Awesome place! Try it out!
I got myself a caramel white chocolate frappe my girl got a hazelnut frappe but for some reason and it had chocolate in it which I didn't ask for so kind of wasn't what she wanted mine was just perfect and my mother got a mocha hot it was pretty good it's not a bad place price was all right I guess all together with the tip it came to $25
I always forget to get her name, but she’s there now (2:30pm 4/5/24). She’s the absolute best and sweetest and deserves all the raises in the world. She’s always so upbeat and makes my coffee so good every time! I have a slightly ridiculous order and she makes sure everyone else working there knows how to make it correctly and makes up for it when it’s occasionally done wrong. Her coffee is phenomenal but honestly her attitude is the reason I continue to go; she’s just the sweetest.
The staff here gives excellent customer service. On top of that the selections of drinks and flavors is huge. They also have white coffee which is a nice change. Only word of caution is if you get a breakfast burrito it will be nuclear hot. Which is better than cold and not something that is effecting my rating.
